Summary

The armoured swordsman blows the drained Buu away with one swing of his huge sword and tells Vegito he is “not from this timeline”: the Grand Priest sent him to eliminate the “primitive mortal” (ep 0045 00:01:26–00:04:41). Furious that he serves “that damn midget” and Zeno, Vegito attacks in his final form, but the swordsman catches his punch, seems to read his thoughts, breaks his wrist and punches him through several mountains (ep 0045 00:04:41–00:09:06). Shin has heard rumours of the five strongest — and that the Grand Priest may be one of them (ep 0045 00:09:48–00:10:01). Vegito sets his wrist and, through his black eye, sends the apparitions of four absorbed angels — Marcarita, Cognac, Vados and Martinu — at the swordsman, who outspeeds them and cuts them all down with a delayed slash, apologising and vowing to free them “from this nightmare” (ep 0045 00:11:04–00:14:52). Vegito drops him into a pit and the apparitions of five destroyers — Quitela, Beerus, Belmod, Champa and Toppo — fire a Hakai at full power; the swordsman starts to erase, then coats his sword in purple Hakai energy and sends it back, erasing them (ep 0045 00:15:05–00:19:19). Shaken, Vegito hears himself called a demon who belongs in “the demon realm” (ep 0045 00:19:28–00:21:17). He answers with Goku Black’s Zamasu halo and a God Slayer Scythe modelled on Black’s, but the swordsman’s blade and speed outclass him and his god ki runs out (ep 0045 00:22:05–00:28:37). The swordsman scorns these “second-class gods and angels” and says there is a difference between gods and “those that came even before them” (ep 0045 00:29:04–00:29:25). He throws his sword; Vegito dodges and, hand to hand, forces him to one knee — until the sword flies back and cuts Vegito through the stomach and right arm (ep 0045 00:30:43–00:36:42). Vegito pleads that his time rings give him seven lives; the swordsman answers that he cut off that hand, raises his blade over Vegito’s neck and swings: “DIE, GOD KILLER!” (ep 0045 00:38:25–00:39:18).

  • Does the swordsman read minds? He answers a thought, then says Vegito is “just that predictable” (00:07:40–00:08:12) — unclear.
  • “I chopped that hand” (00:38:51) — the cut went through Vegito’s right arm (00:36:20), the hand whose rings were exposed (00:10:16) (inferred); compare which hand wore the rings.
  • “the five-strongest mortal” (00:26:41) may mean the swordsman calls himself a mortal, though he also says he is a “higher being” who has lived millennia (00:37:40) — unclear.
