Summary

The revived Z fighters meet King Vegeta and Bardock, from the timeline Vegito once visited, with Hit between them; Gohan recognises Hit from the tournament, and Hit tells him only that all will be revealed in time (ep 0103 00:01:08–00:04:15). Bardock kills a huge demon sneaking up on Gohan with one blow and calls Gohan his grandson, then wades into the horde; King Vegeta does the same for Gotenks and goads him into the fight (ep 0103 00:04:30–00:12:50). Yamcha, Krillin, Tien, Piccolo and Gohan clear the area, Gotenks defuses, and Piccolo and Gohan decide to regroup with Dende after fetching their families (ep 0103 00:12:58–00:18:46). In the demon realm, Vegito finds that neither Instant Transmission nor Whis’s staff works; inside his mind, Yamoshi and Broly reappear, and Yamoshi tells him he has swapped places with Lucif and can only get out with the knowledge the five strongest gathered — but he wants to be let out first, and Vegito refuses (ep 0103 00:20:09–00:25:13). A pink demon who calls himself the demon emperor of this sector fires at him; when Vegito boasts he once held Lucif’s power, the emperor sends his five guards, and Vegito erases them with a Super Saiyan roar (ep 0103 00:25:42–00:33:10). At Kami’s Lookout, Dende reports millions dead across Earth, and Hit says the plague is multiverse-wide (ep 0103 00:33:13–00:34:57). Through a giant time portal comes an army of Super Saiyans at King Vegeta’s command (ep 0103 00:35:03–00:36:50). The King explains that Vegito saved his race and taught him the Super Saiyan forms, so that now every adult Saiyan of his time can transform (ep 0103 00:38:08–00:39:32). Hit leaves the rest of the story to his last reinforcements: Goku and Vegeta, who arrive by Instant Transmission, home “after countless decades” (ep 0103 00:40:06–00:41:21).

Key events

  • 00:01:22–00:02:33 Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Gotenks, Chiaotzu, Tien and Yamcha face King Vegeta and Bardock — “BORN AND BRED WITHIN THE ULTRA VEGITO UNIVERSE… FROM AN ALTERNATE TIMELINE” — with Hit, “the last known owner of a time ring”.
  • 00:02:58–00:03:09 Gohan: they look like Dad and Vegeta, “But their energies… They’re different”; he knows Hit from the tournament.
  • 00:03:57–00:04:15 Hit: “All will be revealed in due time, Son Gohan” — Gohan is now “the protector of universe 7”.
  • 00:04:30–00:05:41 A huge demon (“Give me your body, mortal!”) behind Gohan; Bardock kills it with one strike.
  • 00:05:57–00:06:13 Bardock: “You’re supposed to be my grandson, after all!”
  • 00:06:40–00:07:33 Bardock alone against the horde: “I’ve conquered entire planets!”
  • 00:08:41–00:11:18 King Vegeta fires past Gotenks’s head into a demon behind him: “You two have no idea of your surroundings in battle.”
  • 00:11:55–00:12:37 The King dares Gotenks to show “what an Earthling Saiyan can even do”; Gotenks goes Super Saiyan 3.
  • 00:13:13–00:14:50 Yamcha’s Wolf Fang Fist; Krillin’s Destructo Disc saves him.
  • 00:15:25–00:16:04 Tien’s Tri-Beam; Piccolo and Gohan join in; the area is cleared — Gohan’s first defence of Earth “since the Cell games”.
  • 00:17:32–00:17:48 Gotenks defuses; Trunks celebrates.
  • 00:18:06–00:18:46 Piccolo senses more demons “All over the planet”; Gohan: “Maybe Dende will know what to do… first, let’s make sure to get to Mum, Bulma”.
  • 00:20:09–00:20:26 In the demon realm, Instant Transmission fails: “I can’t get a lock on anything’s energy!”
  • 00:20:47–00:20:56 Vegito: “I’ve traveled through all 12 universes! Never once have I seen anywhere like this!”
  • 00:21:14–00:21:53 Whis’s staff won’t come: “Angel items cannot exist within the realm of the demon!”
  • 00:22:17–00:23:18 Yamoshi and Angel of Destruction Broly reappear inside Vegito’s mind; Yamoshi: “you ended up being a fool and playing right into Lucif’s hand”; listening to Kakarot “is no different to just listening to yourself”.
  • 00:23:54–00:24:23 Yamoshi: “You’ve swapped places entirely with Lucif!… you have no escape! Not unless you know where to go, and what to do!” — knowledge the Five gathered stopping lower demons reaching the mortal realm.
  • 00:24:44–00:25:13 “Let me out first!” (Yamoshi, inferred); Vegito: “I’ll pass for now. I can figure things out myself”.
  • 00:25:42–00:26:15 A beam from behind; Vegito dodges with Omen Ultra Instinct.
  • 00:27:05–00:27:37 Among five generic demons stands “THE DEMON EMPEROR OF THIS SECTOR”, bright pink, like “Frieza, Buu and even Janemba”, his finger still smoking.
  • 00:28:25–00:28:50 Vegito: “I’ve even held the power once of the greatest of your kind. The one true devil… LUCIF!”
  • 00:29:09–00:29:56 The emperor has “heard rumours of his escape”; he sends his five to test Vegito.
  • 00:30:47–00:30:57 Vegito senses the emperor’s energy is “just as dark” as Lucif’s.
  • 00:31:22–00:31:31 Vegito: “where exactly does a demon go once they die here?” — “I will let you find that out yourself!”
  • 00:32:01–00:33:10 A Super Saiyan roar erases all five.
  • 00:33:40–00:34:07 At Kami’s Lookout, Dende: demons everywhere, “It’s already in the millions!”
  • 00:34:16–00:34:30 Mr. Popo: “Not even Garlic Jr. was this bad!”
  • 00:34:46–00:35:18 Hit: the same “all over the multiverse… Lucif’s plague”; with his time ring, “at least in this universe, we can begin to fight back!”
  • 00:35:52–00:36:50 A time portal “far larger than ever seen before” releases an army of Super Saiyans on King Vegeta’s command.
  • 00:37:08–00:37:17 Gohan: “I thought Dad and Vegeta were the only…”
  • 00:38:16–00:38:19 King Vegeta: “We come because of your father… Vegito!”
  • 00:38:22–00:39:32 Vegito saved his life and the Saiyan race, killed Frieza “Single-handedly”, and taught him “decades of Super Saiyan… Transformations”; “There exists no adult Saiyan alive… Who cannot at least… Become a Super Saiyan”.
  • 00:39:42–00:39:48 Piccolo: “It was Vegito who visited you? How?”
  • 00:40:06–00:40:20 Hit: a story “That just isn’t mine to tell”.
  • 00:40:31–00:41:21 Goku and Vegeta arrive by Instant Transmission (inferred: “transmissioning in”): “Finally… After countless decades… Son Goku… And Prince Vegeta… Have returned to Planet Earth”.

Uncertainties

  • “Let me out first!” (00:24:44) is read as Yamoshi’s condition for helping (inferred).
  • The line that the staff can’t appear in the demon realm (00:21:50–00:21:53) comes just before Yamoshi is revealed, so it is probably his (inferred).
  • The demon emperor’s reply (00:27:05–00:27:08) is garbled; he isn’t named.
  • Goku and Vegeta are said to be “transmissioning in” (00:40:38) — how they found their way from Zeno’s realm isn’t shown.
  • A narrator aside (00:02:01–00:02:11) compares King Vegeta and Bardock to another manga by the author; not used here.
