Overview

King of the Saiyans and father of Prince Vegeta in the Planet Vegeta timeline. There he tried to overthrow Frieza alone when his army balked, and was saved by Vegito, who killed Frieza (ep 0030 00:09:58–00:30:21). He had served Beerus on the promise that his people would be spared (ep 0030 00:22:12–00:22:43); he refused Vegito’s demand that the Saiyans give up conquest and their tails, but was shown the Super Saiyan forms up to Blue (ep 0031 00:04:58–00:08:56), and every adult Saiyan of his time learned to transform (ep 0103 00:38:08–00:39:32). Hit brought him to Vegito’s Earth in a Super Saiyan 4 God form to fight the demons; he fought beside his son on Yardrat and was sent to clear demons from Universe 7’s planets (ep 0102 00:57:54–00:59:06; ep 0108–0113; ep 0122 00:24:41–00:24:59). Lucif’s royal guard killed him (ep 0137 00:24:53–00:26:59); his corpse was later thrown before Vegeta and blown up by Virgil (ep 0148 00:37:39–00:39:41). In the Devil’s sector of the demon realm he meets Vegito again — “You met me in another timeline!… I traveled to your timeline, and I fought a demon” — and Vegito kills him (ep 0160 00:24:45–00:26:29); the Devil says these were the real people, sent there to die by Vegito’s hand (ep 0161 00:28:44–00:28:58).

  • ep 0103: shoots a demon behind Gotenks and goads him — “show me first, what an Earthling Saiyan can even do!” (00:08:41–00:12:05); commands a Super Saiyan army through Hit’s portal (00:36:11–00:36:33); tells Gohan that “your father… Vegito” saved him and his race and taught him the Super Saiyan forms, so every adult Saiyan of his time can now transform (00:38:08–00:39:32).
  • ep 0104: meets his son: “I’m as real as that short stature of yours, son! Who knew you would take after your mother so much?” (00:10:28–00:10:44); offers strategy — “the Vegeta bloodline is not short on producing those” (00:15:25–00:16:00).

I’ll be impressed!” (00:05:07–00:05:40); wipes out lesser demons in his Super Saiyan 4 God form, is hit point-blank by a demon king’s beam, and faces him — “Father vs father… Son vs son… My son… Will be murdering you…” (00:14:59–00:22:22).
  • ep 0109: fights the 900-year-old demon king as an equal, enjoying it — “This reminds me of battles I had in my younger years” (00:14:42–00:17:40); his “ROYAL ARROW” clashes with the demon’s “Royal Paw” (00:18:47–00:21:16); “That’s my son… The strongest Saiyan of all” (00:37:52–00:37:57).
  • ep 0112 00:40:13–00:43:25: felled by the demon king’s uppercut — lifeless, eyes blank, back in base — yet, as Vegeta erupts, he smirks. (He was playing dead, ep 0113 00:10:34.)
  • ep 0113: on Yardrat he was “playing dead” (00:10:34) — “Vegito never showed me that!” (00:10:49); he rises proud of his son (00:33:33–00:33:48) and returns to Earth with him (00:40:40).
  • ep 0122 00:24:41–00:24:59: sent to space with Tien and Chaotzu as team 2 (Bulma’s account).
  • ep 0137 00:05:48–00:11:38: on his sixth planet in Universe 7, sent by Bulma; kills a blue-skinned monster, the demon Goro (as heard) and a skull-faced demon holding Tien; feels younger by the day.
  • ep 0137 00:13:27–00:13:52: pushes Tien out of the way of a black lightning bolt.
  • ep 0137 00:17:29–00:24:53: faces Lucif’s guard — stronger than Tizer and his father — first in base, then in Super Saiyan 4 God form; his blows have no effect.
  • ep 0137 00:24:53–00:26:59: held by the throat, warns that the guard and his son must never meet — for the guard’s sake — and is killed.
  • ep 0148 00:37:39–00:39:41: his corpse, neck broken, falls from Virgil’s portal before Vegeta; Virgil makes it explode.
  • ep 0160 00:24:30–00:26:29: in the Devil’s sector of the demon realm, he begs Vegito, who “met me in another timeline”, and says he travelled to Vegito’s timeline and fought a demon; Vegito splits his head.
