Summary

Vegito seals the Z fighters out, levitating the broken lab doors back over the cave mouth with a two-fingered gesture (ep 0020 00:01:13–00:02:29). Outside, Tien argues they should celebrate, while Future Trunks worries that his arrival has changed this timeline in ways nobody hoped; Vegeta, enraged at being outclassed, flies off vowing to find “a power to surpass a super saiyan” and to destroy “that clown” for stealing his kill (ep 0020 00:04:42–00:08:07). Inside, Gero refuses to be treated like a servant until Vegito threatens to kill him slowly, destroy Android 16 and erase “your precious baby” before it’s born; shaken that a stranger knows about Cell, Gero gives in (ep 0020 00:10:53–00:13:44). Days later Vegito lies on the operating table, still in his Ultra form, with a bare robotic left arm in place — while Gero secretly feeds Vegito’s power, techniques and DNA to Cell, so that the Baby Cell growing in a distant lab gains Ultra Instinct (ep 0020 00:14:16–00:18:05). A week on, the arm is skinned and lifelike, Vegito has a Zenkai from his rest, and the palm holds one of Gero’s energy-absorption devices, which with his “spirit fission” [?] from Yardrat he means to use to take the gods’ ki (ep 0020 00:18:16–00:20:08). Gero confirms every requested upgrade, including “that special one” (ep 0020 00:21:46–00:22:30). Vegito spares him, revealing that he comes from the future, where Cell absorbed 17 and 18 and was beaten by Gohan; killing the twins, he says, guarantees Cell never becomes perfect (ep 0020 00:23:49–00:26:23). He summons Whis’s staff with a snap of his fingers, warns Gero to give up revenge, and leaves through a time-ring portal back to his own timeline (ep 0020 00:28:08–00:30:30). Weeks later Cell, with an Ultra Instinct shine in his eyes, Hakais Piccolo — fused with Kami — erasing the Dragon Balls too, then kills Vegeta, Future Trunks and Gohan and absorbs them, leaving a still-bedridden Goku as the last Saiyan (ep 0020 00:30:37–00:34:56).
