Summary

The new Majin Buu, far more articulate than the one Vegito knew, thanks him for his freedom but refuses to fight: “Violence is not the answer”, he only wants solitude (ep 0044 00:01:53–00:06:30). Watching from a ridge, Shin senses that this Buu is different and stronger, fears “the other fellow” is just as strong, and mutters that he may need to call on Beerus — which Vegeta overhears (ep 0044 00:03:23–00:05:00). Vegito, wanting a sparring partner to test “this Majin seal”, attacks anyway; Buu dodges with what Vegito calls autonomous Ultra Instinct, gained from his god ki (ep 0044 00:05:37–00:13:05). In mastered Ultra Instinct Vegito slices Buu apart and blasts the pieces, but Buu reforms unhurt (ep 0044 00:13:24–00:18:24). Angered at last, Buu overwhelms him — stretching his arm to whirl him into mountains, kicking him through the ground and hurling a planet-scale ball of pink energy — then walks off to eat (ep 0044 00:19:22–00:28:56). Vegito rises in his final form, calls Buu “practically my child”, and announces himself as “the Prince of All Saiyans”, startling Vegeta (ep 0044 00:29:17–00:31:38). Now he dominates: Buu powers up fully and the two fight evenly for a while, until Vegito kicks him into a mountain (ep 0044 00:31:38–00:37:50). Vegito’s Big Bang Attack meets Buu’s energy ball; his black left eye summons the apparitions of Belmod and Beerus, who pin Buu’s arms, and the blast engulfs him (ep 0044 00:38:27–00:42:45). As Vegito raises his android arm over Buu’s deformed body to absorb him, an armoured, caped figure with a huge sword crashes down: he is “the first of the five strongest”, the first summoned “since Lucif”, come to kill Vegito (ep 0044 00:43:51–00:45:35).

Uncertainties

  • dropped a scream line (00:23:16).
  • Two passages repeat in the transcript (00:27:23–00:27:58; 00:45:02–00:45:16) — one event each.
  • “Could he be terrible?” (00:30:46) is taken as Tarble, Vegeta’s brother in the source series — likely, not certain.
  • “PATRICK STAR!” (00:29:00) is the “deep voice” calling Buu back — Vegito (inferred)
  • The Big Bang Attack leaves Buu’s body “deformed and disfigured” (00:43:31) but doesn’t kill him: he surges back as pink goo to shield Vegito from Guts (ep 0046 00:07:10–00:08:32).
  • Buu “the Earthling” — he doesn’t know Vegito is a Saiyan, or how he was revived (00:31:00).
  • The armoured figure’s name isn’t given in this episode.
