Overview

A brash Universe 6 Saiyan, recruited by Champa (ep 0008, mentioned). She is the daughter of the King of Sadala, who hadn’t seen her since she was a baby (ep 0035 00:06:09–00:07:11). After years in the Pyramid of Power she fuses with her adopted sister Kale into Kefla using angel-grade Potara (ep 0037 00:11:22–00:13:15). Back on Sadala more than ten years later she died in a demon attack, at Kale’s side (ep 0126 00:35:38–00:36:02; ep 0133 00:01:04–00:01:19); Goku has promised she will be brought back once Lucif is beaten (ep 0133 00:01:46–00:03:20).

Affiliations & relationships

• King of Sadala: her father; she scorns him as lazy and unable to turn Super Saiyan (ep 0035 00:06:11–00:09:09).
• Kale: her “adopted sister” (ep 0037 00:12:13).
• Cabba: rival trainee (ep 0035 00:03:31–00:03:47).
• Goku: Champa says she is “obsessed” with beating Son Goku (ep 0035 00:10:34–00:10:39).

Abilities / traits

• Super Saiyan; the Saiyans on Sadala don’t let her go on missions (ep 0035 00:04:19–00:04:28).
• Fuses with Kale into Kefla with black, angel-grade Potara (ep 0037 00:11:22–00:13:15).

Variants

• Hub: Caulifla.
• Caulifla (god-killer Vegeta’s timeline) — one of the friends Vegeta makes in Universe 6 (ep 0204).

Status

• Dead — found beside Kale; no pulse; Goku’s Seraphim can’t revive her (ep 0126 00:35:38; ep 0127 00:02:10–00:04:23). (Earlier: fused into Kefla, ep 0037 00:13:00, and still fused at ep 0040 00:06:58–00:07:21; found apart from Kale by ep 0126 — the defusion is never shown.)
• Who killed her is never named. Probably Emperor Flame (inferred: she “died in the battle”, ep 0133 00:05:36, and Cabba blames “All of this” on Flame, who outmatched all three of them, ep 0131 00:07:04–00:08:30).

History

• ep 0008 00:23:26: (mentioned) Champa sends for her.
• ep 0035 00:02:42–00:11:36: waits on Champa’s planet; meets her father; enters the Pyramid of Power.
• ep 0037 00:05:29–00:13:15: comes out years older; fuses with Kale into Kefla.
• ep 0038–0040: (as Kefla) loses an arm to Vegito’s Hakai; gives her energy to the King of Sadala; flies him home.
• ep 0126 00:35:38–00:36:02: found lying hand in hand with Kale, covered in blood.
• ep 0127 00:02:10–00:07:38: dead; left where she lay, a last tear falling.
• ep 0133 00:01:46–00:03:20: mourned on Sadala; Goku promises she’ll be back once Lucif is beaten.

Open questions

• Who is her mother? (mentioned only, ep 0035 00:07:05, 00:09:03; never named.)
• Who killed her — Emperor Flame? Implied, never said.
