Summary
The Devil, now plainly a true demon Vegito “last seen in the very final battle of Season 1”, mocks Vegito’s claim to be the liberator: he killed Kazuya’s cheerleaders and host, Heles’s children, his own son Xicor and a teenage daughter of Heles with a power level of 400 (ep 0163 00:01:32–00:06:55). He explains himself: after Z first showed Seraphim eyes and beat Vegito’s true demon form, Vegito used the time rings to call over a thousand real Vegitos from other timelines — timelines now “ruined… Destroyed” without them — a trick learned from Black (ep 0163 00:07:20–00:10:35). In Vegito’s mind, Yamoshi and Broly glare at a smug Black (ep 0163 00:10:47–00:11:14). Smitten by Z, the copies were all sent down to sector 10, where demons slaughtered them; one, enraged, exploded into Buu-like goo that engulfed and absorbed all the others, wiped out the demons, opened green Seraphim, and found himself with five time rings — which only ever moved him between demon-realm sectors (ep 0163 00:11:27–00:21:57). One day he found an empty throne, sat in it, and understood: “A thousand Vegitos fused… Is simply… A thousand pieces of Lucif too”; he was Lucif’s backup (ep 0163 00:22:02–00:24:04). Now called Lucif by the narration, he says Vegito was sent down by Lucif personally to be the same backup, and “Two backups aren’t needed” (ep 0163 00:24:14–00:25:42). Furious at being Lucif’s pawn again, Vegito kicks him away and stabs out his Cell tail, which the other cuts in half with his God Slayer blade (ep 0163 00:26:36–00:28:48). They clash in the same voice; the Devil’s old android absorption bead blows up his own arm — “Dr. Gero’s primitive tech” — and he regrows it (ep 0163 00:29:51–00:34:11). He means Vegito to become “Vegito one thousand and one”; Vegito jokes that it took a thousand of them to equal him (ep 0163 00:34:22–00:35:23). A Solar Flare covers the Devil’s change into the full Lucif takeover form — black bulging body, long horns, rose-pink hair, the blood-red triangle on forehead and chest (ep 0163 00:36:00–00:37:50).
