Summary

Four arms against four arms, Vegito finds himself working harder and harder to keep up with the sector 3 emperor, who gives his name as Kenji (as heard) (ep 0130 00:01:09–00:04:19). Vegito draws four god-slayer blades and splatters him with a lightning kick, but a blood arm moving faster than ever cuts Vegito’s head clean off and reels it in; the head explodes in Kenji’s face, and Vegito’s body regrows it from pink goo (ep 0130 00:04:40–00:12:31). Taunted as a “freak”, the lonely Kenji screams “Why won’t you love me?!”, grows into a giant blood hand with a mouth in its palm and swats Vegito into a crater — “step one” (ep 0130 00:13:50–00:21:49). In the crater Vegito finds the horned skeletons of old demons buried long ago, and realises Kenji’s strength rises with his distress (ep 0130 00:22:17–00:24:21). Kenji calmly dodges everything, drenches Vegito in blood, and nicks his cheek; the blood pours into the cut before Vegito’s Buu healing can close it (ep 0130 00:24:50–00:30:43). Now Vegito’s energy won’t answer and his eyes mirror Kenji’s: this is “the ability of the blood demons”, and Vegito remembers Makoto (ep 0130 00:32:40–00:34:59). Kenji binds him in a coffin of blood-soaked sand — the fate of every demon who once lived there — and crushes it, raining Vegito’s blood over the sector (ep 0130 00:35:34–00:38:15). Somewhere, a one-armed Cabba claws out of the ground calling for Kale and Caulifla (ep 0130 00:38:19–00:39:06).

Uncertainties

  • “Kenji” (00:04:19) is how the name is heard.
  • Vegito counts “the last seven emperors” (00:14:34); the narration of ep 0128 counted six absorbed, “seven counting the one Guts allegedly had”.
  • How badly Vegito is hurt is left open — “The fate of Ultra Vegito… Would be unknown” (00:38:13); he survives: Makoto frees him and he absorbs Kenji (ep 0132 00:29:29, 00:39:38).
  • Where Cabba is when he climbs out is not said; the narration itself asks whether it’s the demon realm (00:39:02–00:39:06). That he climbs out of the ground just like the buried demons is suggestive, not stated.
  • Kenji’s eyes are “strange and opposite” (ep 0129); whether he is the figure “with strikingly the same Seraphim eyes as Vegito” from ep 0128 is never said; we read that figure as Makoto, who appears in sector 3 in ep 0132 (inferred; see same-eyes-figure).
