Episode 0196 Title Son Goku Finally Meets An Elder God Released 2025-08-01 Length 38:08 Setting flashback, god-killer Goku’s timeline — Beerus’s planet, the other destroyers’ planets, space. See timelines Watch YouTube ↗
Summary
With Beerus erased, Whis tells Goku he is the new God of Destruction “Taken by battle to the death”; Goku says he’ll be a destroyer only in name (ep 0196 00:01:07–00:02:13). Whis says he now serves Goku instead of his previous god — a “She” he can’t name — and offers to teach him the angels’ autonomous movement and tell him where the twelve Dragon Balls are (ep 0196 00:02:22–00:05:04). Goku instead orders him, on pain of erasure, to put on the second black Potara; inside the fusion Goku kills him at once, keeping his power, and emerges white-haired in a Mastered Ultra Instinct aura (ep 0196 00:05:44–00:12:40). Whis’s knowledge floods in — twelve universes, Chronoa, the Elder Gods, the Seraphim — and Goku tells the watching Chronoa he won’t be part of her game; she laughs it off, calls this Whis “a worthless pawn”, and turns back to “my real prize… Ultra Vegito” (ep 0196 00:12:45–00:16:52). Learning that the Super Dragon Balls lie under the destroyers’ planets, Goku vows “All gods will die” and slaughters the other eleven destroyers, each time claiming the throne so that their angels must obey (ep 0196 00:17:15–00:22:34). He fuses with all eleven angels, gaining “the Grand Priest’s secret technique” and the Seraphim eyes, then beats and fuses with the five strongest — Guts, Madara, Yamoshi, Makoto and Light (ep 0196 00:22:38–00:26:27). He cracks open the twelve planets and gathers their Dragon Balls, but they need the language of the gods to wake; Zeno and the Grand Priest Dai arrive, Goku reaches the green Seraphim, beats Dai and fuses with him too (ep 0196 00:27:00–00:33:42). The dragon rises, Goku wishes back every planet and mortal the destroyers erased — and the dragon explodes; in its place stands the Elder God Hera: “The only way your family is coming back now is if you do a favor for me first… considering I made you” (ep 0196 00:34:13–00:37:24).

Uncertainties
- Several destroyers’ names are garbled and read [?]: “Jin” (Giin), “liquor” (Liquiir), “he won” (Iwan), “Elise” (Heles), “a rack” (Arak) (00:19:29–00:20:29). Mule and Iwan appear as destroyers here as in the main story.
- “the first light” (00:25:44) is read as the fifth of the five strongest, Light [?]; he is called “the bemused child”.
- “the language of the elite gods” (00:30:35, 00:34:16) may be “Elder gods”.
- Narration: Zeno “in this timeline would have no guards anyway” (00:34:06), and with “no Whis working from the demon realm, there would be no Lucif interfering here” (00:32:15–00:32:22).
- Why the dragon explodes, and whether Hera did it, isn’t said.
