Episode 0197 Title How OMNI Vegito Was Born In Dragon Ball Super Released 2025-08-08 Length 41:24 Setting the Elder Gods’ realm (Omni Vegito, framing); flashback to Omni Vegito’s own past in Castiel’s multiverse — Planet Vegeta, Earth, Beerus’s planet. See timelines Watch YouTube ↗
Summary
Omni Vegito has been watching god-killer Goku’s past “on a strange digital apparition”: he finds that Goku more dangerous than “that weakling Ultra Vegito” (ep 0197 00:00:25–00:01:31). Less than two hours remain before the tournament, per Castiel — just enough, he says, to tell his own story; his red-and-white eyes mark him as both Omni King of the mortal realm and Devil of the demon realm (ep 0197 00:02:42–00:03:42). In his past, baby Vegeta and, four years later, baby Kakarot both read over 9,000, and King Vegeta sends them to Earth together, telling Vegeta to treat Kakarot as a blood brother, while Gine screams for her baby (ep 0197 00:03:49–00:07:17). They grow up together, then go separate ways — Vegeta in Saiyan ways, Kakarot with Grandpa Gohan and Roshi as Son Goku — and are already Super Saiyans when they meet again (ep 0197 00:07:20–00:08:39). Vegeta kills Raditz; Goku kills the Ginyu Force and Frieza, who came alone to Earth after wishing orbs Cooler told him of; Vegeta kills Perfect Cell; and the two, in Super Saiyan 3, blast fat Buu to nothing (ep 0197 00:08:56–00:22:59). Beerus and Whis come because the Oracle Fish foretold a Saiyan successor; Beerus toys with both of them until, refusing to lose, they ascend together to a red-haired Super Saiyan 4 “straight out of Daima” and floor him (ep 0197 00:23:06–00:34:47). Whis names both successors; since there can only be one God of Destruction, he gives them Angel Grade Potara, and God of Destruction Vegito is born, already in the new clothes (ep 0197 00:35:42–00:39:46). “And that’s how I became me,” says Omni Vegito; next he will tell how he came to rule all gods and demons, “the first Saiyan in history to become both the Omni King and Devil” (ep 0197 00:39:49–00:40:37).

- That Omni Vegito watched god-killer Goku’s whole past (eps 0193–0196) on his screen is inferred from 00:00:25–00:01:31.
- Which Raditz this is — and how he fits with the Raditz of ep 0165 — isn’t said; here he is “Kakarot’s real brother” (00:08:56).
- Narration says both being Super Saiyans put them “on a level of power that simply triumphed over any timeline variant” (00:08:33–00:08:44).
