Summary

The sector 4 emperor sees that his blast came too late and Yamoshi, “that divine one”, has merged back into Vegito, but still calls him no challenge (ep 0128 00:01:55–00:02:46). Blows from nowhere then batter him into the sky, until he catches a tiny black ball holding Vegito’s red and yellow Seraphim — Vegito himself, shrunk — and erases it, naming himself “the great Mello” (as heard) (ep 0128 00:03:10–00:08:37). The real Vegito is flying above in a new form taking after Yamoshi: black-and-white hair, no eyebrows, red and yellow Seraphim on blackened eyes, crackling lightning and a Saiyan tail — “an Ikari god himself” (ep 0128 00:10:19–00:11:03). Mello says only demons and the divine escape the sector’s rules and calls the godkiller a hypocrite turned god; Vegito answers that his power is back “Because I’m a demon!” and drives his arm through Mello’s stomach (ep 0128 00:11:39–00:15:57). Mello splits into three, but Vegito toys with them arms folded, then beheads one, halves another and smashes all three into a single mass (ep 0128 00:16:24–00:26:11). He finishes with his “Dark Dharma”, a reverse Spirit Bomb of demonic energy that drags the fleeing Mello in; reminded by Yamoshi and Broly inside his mind, he teleports in beside him to absorb him as it explodes and wipes out every platform in the sector (ep 0128 00:26:24–00:34:20). Vegito stands in base with green Seraphim on blackened eyes, his sixth demon emperor absorbed, while another dark figure with the same eyes looks on (ep 0128 00:34:36–00:36:06).

Key events

  • 00:01:55–00:02:24 The emperor: “I was too late… And now that divine one is gone too. Before, I could even realize who he was.”
  • 00:02:33–00:02:46 “You will become no devil. And that is because you are no challenge to me.”
  • 00:03:10–00:05:45 Unseen blows hit his stomach and both cheeks; he flees upward and is uppercut by “thin air”.
  • 00:06:19–00:06:55 He grabs a “small, pure black ball. Almost like a piece of candy” — inside it, Vegito’s yellow and red Seraphim.
  • 00:07:06 “What’s wrong?! Can’t handle someone your own size?!”
  • 00:07:32–00:08:07 The emperor uses “his god of destruction abilities” on the ball, which erases.
  • 00:08:28–00:08:37 “A pathetic little part of you!… The great Mello?”
  • 00:09:32–00:10:00 Mello wonders whether Vegito put his whole self into the ball and is gone.
  • 00:10:19–00:11:03 Vegito, flying: “elements from his Ultra form, but undeniably from Yamoshi also… black and white hair… his eyebrows missing… both yellow and red Seraphim on blackened eyes… a Saiyan tail… become an Ikari god himself.”
  • 00:11:39–00:12:08 Mello: “Why have you got my eyebrows now?!… The effects of the sector aren’t working on you?!”
  • 00:12:24–00:12:49 Vegito: “I guess I can fly now… Like my power isn’t restricted anymore… fusing with Yamoshi… Or is it this new form of his? Ikari God!”
  • 00:13:11–00:14:25 Mello: “This sector has no effect on the divine!… The only beings unaffected here are demons and the divine!… You have finally become… What you swore not to!”
  • 00:14:47–00:14:58 Vegito: “now I know why my power has been restored now! And it’s not because I’m a god! Because I’m a demon!”
  • 00:15:07–00:15:32 His left arm goes straight through Mello’s stomach.
  • 00:15:47–00:15:57 “If you’re confusing me like this to be a damn god, then I can’t wait to see what you demons think of me as the devil!”
  • 00:16:24–00:17:09 Mello splits into three: “If two can become one, then one can become three!”
  • 00:17:22 Vegito: “Multiform technique? I never saw Buu do this”.
  • 00:17:57–00:20:28 Arms folded, Vegito beats all three clones with his legs alone: “All I needed was that old man To make things this easy again”.
  • 00:21:21–00:21:53 “Then I guess… It’s my turn” — he becomes “a demonic beast of his own” and beheads one clone.
  • 00:22:31–00:22:38 “Don’t lose your head over this”; a clone: “So this is how Crime was defeated”.
  • 00:23:29–00:24:38 He throws the severed head at another clone and splits the third in half with his god-slayer blade.
  • 00:24:46–00:26:11 He kicks the three into one mutated mass and slams it flat into the ground.
  • 00:26:50–00:27:29 “the last time I tried this, this damned sector and its tricks ruined it… the power of the Dark Dharma” — “a reverse spirit bomb, aka Genki Dharma… out of pure dark demon”.
  • 00:27:48–00:28:03 “never did I think I’d finally have to re-fuse with that old geezer. Thanks for opening my eyes to remembering what power I really have.”
  • 00:29:10–00:29:17 Mello: “The darkness! How could you possess this? You really are a demon!” — and flees.
  • 00:30:27–00:30:35 The Dark Dharma has “its very own planetary pull”.
  • 00:32:36–00:32:49 Inside Vegito’s mind Yamoshi and Broly roar: “DON’T FORGET TO ABSORB HIM, YOU FOOL!”
  • 00:33:07–00:33:45 Vegito teleports into the Dark Dharma beside Mello: “I just had one last gift to give you”.
  • 00:33:50–00:34:20 The explosion erases the platform and every other one.
  • 00:35:09–00:35:37 Vegito, in base, shows “an all new set of green Seraphim, one backed by blacked out whites… having absorbed his sixth demon emperor, seven counting the one Guts allegedly had”.
  • 00:35:53–00:36:06 “Another dark demonic figure with strikingly the same Seraphim eyes as Vegito” watches — “someone we should all know already”.

Threads

Uncertainties

  • The emperor’s name is heard as “mellow”, “Mello”, “Mellow” and “Melo”; “Mello” is a guess at the spelling.
  • The tiny black ball was “a pathetic little part” of Vegito (00:08:28); how he split himself isn’t explained.
  • The count of absorbed emperors — “sixth… seven counting the one Guts allegedly had” (00:35:28) — fits Aiza, Sega, Crime and Cobra (as Krimrah), Embra (eaten by Yamoshi, who is now inside Vegito) and Mello (inferred); “the one Guts had” is likely the demon emperor from the Blade of Destruction (ep 0050) (inferred).
  • Vegito’s muttered words at 00:34:53 and the lead-in to the last scene (00:35:37–00:35:53) are missing from the transcript.
  • The watching figure’s identity is withheld; the next episode’s title speaks of “Someone Crazier Than Him”.
