Episode 0001 Title ULTRA Gogeta Is Born! Ultra Instinct Goku Fuses With Ultra Ego Vegeta Released 2021-10-09 Length 18:22 Watch YouTube ↗
Summary
Goku is showing off mastered Ultra Instinct speed while Vegeta, unimpressed, needles Beerus for having stopped training him since he reached his new form (ep 0001 00:02:25–00:04:10). Stung, Beerus gets up and announces he will “train” them himself, but reveals he actually wants to fight the fusion that beat Broly, whom Whis has told him could challenge him (ep 0001 00:04:24–00:07:58). Vegeta refuses to fuse again, giving in only so he can watch Beerus lose (ep 0001 00:08:07–00:10:05). Goku in Ultra Instinct and Vegeta in Ultra Ego perform the Fusion Dance and become Ultra Gogeta (ep 0001 00:10:05–00:11:03). Gogeta lands early blows and taunts Beerus (ep 0001 00:12:10–00:13:36), until an enraged Beerus unleashes what is presented as his full power, a form he says only Quitela has seen before (ep 0001 00:13:50–00:15:25). Both launch final attacks; at the moment of impact the fusion breaks apart because of how much power it burned (ep 0001 00:15:49–00:17:02). Goku admits the stronger they are, the shorter Gogeta lasts, and the cheated Beerus explodes in fury, shouting “Hakai!” (ep 0001 00:17:14–00:17:50).

Characters appearing
- Goku
- Vegeta
- Beerus
- Gogeta (Ultra Gogeta) (first appearance in this story)
- Mentioned: Whis, Broly, Yamcha, Quitela, Vegeta’s father.
Threads
- None opened that carry past ep 0002; the “Hakai” threat is resolved next episode.
Uncertainties
- Noise lines 00:10:30–00:10:39 (fusion music) dropped.
- The fusion moment itself (00:10:39–00:11:03) is not in the audio transcript (music).
- “Luis” 00:07:48 = Whis (on-screen caption reads “Whis”).
- “Kitella” 00:15:17 = Quitela (caption reads “@uitela”).
- “her kind” 00:12:53 = “Hakai’d” (caption reads “hakaid”).
- “ultra-ego instinct, Vegeta” 00:13:02–00:13:09: “Vegeta” taken as Gogeta (inferred: it’s Gogeta who throws the punch).
- “see this fall” 00:15:17 = “see this form” (caption).
- “fearous” 00:15:56 = Beerus; “Dan Beerus” 00:09:52 = “damn Beerus”.
- Beerus’s shout at 00:17:50 fires no Hakai: ep 0002 picks up with him only threatening Goku and Vegeta with one (ep 0002 00:01:07).
