Summary

In sector 9, Vegito pulls his arm out of Sega’s chest with the crushed heart in hand and goes to help the drained Yamoshi up, offering to let him keep his half of the power — but Sega is still standing, and his wound closes like a Namekian’s: regeneration (ep 0114 00:01:06–00:06:04). Vegito is now sure Sega is modelled on Cell, as Aiza was on Janemba (ep 0114 00:07:17–00:07:55, 00:11:24–00:11:30). Trading information, Sega explains that demons keep changing the longer they stay in the demon realm, and that emperors are said to take their shapes from the greatest evils of the mortal realm, whose darkness drains down to them; Vegito’s own body grew more demonic the same way (ep 0114 00:09:21–00:11:11). Vegito shows his Cell tail, coaxes Sega into growing one too, then stabs him from behind with it and drains him to a husk — now for sure the new Emperor of Sector 9 (ep 0114 00:12:22–00:19:07). His Seraphim eyes turn red with Sega’s energy; when Yamoshi calls him ruthless he snaps that a god has no right to lecture him, and Yamoshi privately worries that Vegito no longer turns demons into chocolate (ep 0114 00:20:21–00:22:30). On Earth, a Saiyan of the army, Kalo, reaches Super Saiyan 2 for the first time in rage over his four fallen comrades, but the demon shrugs off everything, kills his last two companions with finger beams, and aims at him (ep 0114 00:22:46–00:31:45). Gohan, in base, swats the beam away, tells Kalo he is half Saiyan and promises to bring the dead back (ep 0114 00:31:53–00:33:26). The demon names himself Demon King Miro, wanting Gohan’s soul for Lucif’s plan; Gohan goes Super Saiyan 2, then his Ultimate form, and Bardock joins him in an “Omen Ultra Instinct” form, his bandana raised to show a silver eye (ep 0114 00:33:52–00:49:04).

Key events

  • 00:01:06–00:01:30 Vegito’s fist through Sega’s chest bursts his heart: “Night night, Sega!”
  • 00:03:42–00:03:51 To Yamoshi: “I’ll let you hold on to your half for now!”

  • 00:25:42–00:26:37 His blows have no effect; “This wasn’t the Cell games”.
  • 00:27:39–00:27:47 Kalo’s “GALICK BULLET”, “Mimicking the techniques of our timeline’s Vegeta”.

Uncertainties

  • The narration is split into very short lines through most of the episode.
  • The Saiyan’s name, Kalo, is heard several times (00:26:04, 00:26:49, 00:28:34); “Lettice!” (00:30:09) may be one of his dead comrades’ names — the narration says they died “Without a name” (00:30:06).
  • “The captain” (00:28:41) is probably Bardock, whom Kalo calls “Commander Bardock” (00:35:31) (inferred).
  • Kalo calls Gohan “the commander’s son” (00:36:19), though Bardock has just said “My grandson” (00:36:11).
  • “Omen Ultra Instinct” is the narration’s name (00:48:21); why Bardock has a silver eye isn’t explained.
  • Sega’s “death” in ep 0111 was not final: he regenerated (00:05:15–00:06:04) before being drained here.
