Episode 0052
Summary
Savouring Madara’s energy — and the demon emperor’s — Vegito pushes the horn-katana back into his skull, powers down (the horns retract) and decides the last two gods, Iwan and Mule, can wait (ep 0052 00:02:19–00:05:32). Madara, barely alive, warns him he will never get past “the final three of the strongest”, let alone “what lies even beyond”: Chronoa isn’t the only god outside these realms, and the five don’t live in “these puny universes, ran by that child” (ep 0052 00:06:12–00:10:10). Vegito answers that he will simply get stronger, and leaves through a time portal (ep 0052 00:10:44–00:11:36). After he has gone, Iwan lands beside Madara’s body — with Guts, reanimated, groaning and empty-eyed at his side (ep 0052 00:11:36–00:13:11). Vegito, who tried to reach a far future with a powerful god, finds himself in a universe without life; a stranger fires a beam at him and slips into his portal, and Vegito follows him to a planet in another unknown universe (ep 0052 00:13:11–00:16:45). It is Xicor, Goku’s third son from the Dragon Ball AF timeline, who boasts that he killed Goku, his “two illegitimate children”, Vegeta’s family and every living thing in his universe, beat a cat-god who escaped, and now hunts new worlds (ep 0052 00:17:09–00:23:15). Enraged, Vegito attacks; Xicor blasts a hole through him, but it closes “in true Majin style” (ep 0052 00:24:08–00:29:13). Xicor reaches a new Super Saiyan form; Vegito answers with Super Saiyan Blue and Kaioken, and wins their Kamehameha clash in mastered Ultra Instinct (ep 0052 00:30:32–00:39:43). He reveals he is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta, helps his “son” up and offers him a time ring to restore his universe with a Namekian’s Dragon Balls — until Xicor says his mother was “a goddess, the western supreme kai” (ep 0052 00:40:54–00:43:42). Something snaps: a horn bursts from Vegito’s head and he erases Xicor (“father, why”), then screams, declaring war on the gods “even ones, who are his own blood” (ep 0052 00:43:42–00:45:19). In a fiery realm, Jiren — locked away for decades, hugely muscled — rages with a horn of his own [?] (ep 0052 00:45:19–00:46:13).
Key events
- 00:02:19–00:03:02 “this energy, what a treat… even that demon’s energy… surely now I must be able to put a dent in that priest and his toddler owner”.
- 00:03:40–00:04:12 He drives the horn-katana back into his skull, reattaching the horn.
- 00:04:23–00:04:46 Back to base; the horns retract; his shirt is gone.

- 00:09:17–00:09:46 “do you really think, she’s the only god, that exists outside these realms? Just where do you think, us five even reside?… not in these puny universes, ran by that child.”

- 00:12:42–00:12:55 Guts, “thought to be dead”, stands there with lifeless eyes, groaning — “completely reanimated”.
- 00:13:21–00:13:49 “I thought I intended, on going far into the future… where hopefully, a powerful God would exist… I guess I can only truly, go into the past reliably”.
- 00:14:16–00:15:00 No life, no planets — only debris of annihilated worlds.
- 00:15:31–00:16:14 A beam from space; a figure slips into the portal.
- 00:17:09–00:17:28 “Xicor, the third son, of Son Goku… Vegito had entered, the Dragon Ball, AF timeline, but seemingly, far into, the future of it”.
- 00:17:57–00:18:14 Xicor: “gods have been here… I finally found, a way to escape, just like mother, had said”.
- 00:19:41–00:19:56 Vegito: “Son Goku, only had two sons”.
- 00:20:46–00:21:14 Xicor: the empty place was Universe 7; “no more life, exists where I’m from… for hundreds of years”.
- 00:22:02–00:22:33 “I killed every last, one of those weak earthlings, first I started, with my father, then his two, illegitimate children, then the prince of Saiyans, and his family too”.
- 00:22:46–00:23:00 “one strange cat… claiming to be a god… escaped somewhere”; he told Xicor of the twelve universes.
- 00:24:08 Vegito goes Super Saiyan 2, coated in black lightning.
- 00:25:43–00:26:18 Xicor’s blast leaves a hole through Vegito’s torso.
- 00:28:58–00:29:13 The hole closes “in true Majin style”.
- 00:30:46–00:31:16 Xicor’s new form: spiked hair with black accents, black lightning — “that’s a super saiyan, transformation”.

- 00:35:19–00:36:44 Matching Kamehamehas.
- 00:38:20–00:39:28 “clearly the versions of me, over in your timeline, were total weaklings [?], I bet they couldn’t even use, ultra instinct” — mastered Ultra Instinct wins.
- 00:40:54–00:41:13 “I am your father, I am the fusion, of Goku and Vegeta”.
- 00:41:30 Xicor: “I can sense you father, I can sense, Goku”.
- 00:42:27–00:42:53 Vegito offers “your own time ring… find a Namekian, with a set of dragon balls… you can wish, everyone back”.

Uncertainties
- Iwan’s “God’s,” (00:12:33) is taken as “Guts” [?] — Guts appears beside him at once.
- Which timeline the fight happens in isn’t clear: the narration says Vegito “had entered, the Dragon Ball, AF timeline” (00:17:28) when Xicor is revealed, but Xicor came from the empty Universe 7 and asks “where are we now” (00:20:46) (inferred: the empty universe is AF’s Universe 7; the planet is elsewhere).
- The Hakai call before Xicor’s erasure seems missing from the transcript (00:44:40).
- Jiren’s horn (00:46:13, heard “demon hall”) and the “time chamber” are uncertain; Jiren was last trapped in the Pyramid of Power (ep 0028).
- The “strange cat” god Xicor beat (00:22:46) is probably that timeline’s Beerus (inferred).
- Vegito still uses time rings (00:11:08, 00:13:21) — so he kept at least some after Buu absorbed his severed hand (ep 0046).
