Summary

Inside his own mind, Vegito blows Yamoshi back with a palm, thanks him “For all you have given me”, and explains that he has always seen what happens within his body; here “I am the god” — and with a thought he takes off all four of Yamoshi’s limbs and warns the other five occupants (ep 0059 00:00:44–00:07:49). Goku, eager to test the stronger Vegito, takes his own Ultra form — perhaps Vegito’s abilities “seeping into himself” — and attacks; Vegito reads him, stands on his head, survives an instant Kamehameha and kicks him down (ep 0059 00:08:21–00:16:54). Vegeta steps in to talk: they share a goal, but what Vegito did to Jiren was “just as bad, as what the gods did to us”, tampering with time spits in his son’s face, and he and Goku should take back the reins; Goku adds that they only want their families back (ep 0059 00:17:36–00:21:18). Vegito scoffs — they are in his domain, like Yamoshi — but offers a deal: land a single hit on him in base and he’ll take their advice (ep 0059 00:21:18–00:23:01). Goku tries and fails; when Vegito taunts that Goku, not Vegeta, is “the true number one saiyan”, Vegeta too reaches his own Ultra form (ep 0059 00:23:18–00:28:27). Even two on one, with Goku’s Instant Transmission feint and Vegeta’s energy sword nicking Vegito’s clothes, they can’t land a hit: “I know your next thoughts, before even you do” (ep 0059 00:28:43–00:34:53). He beats both back to base (ep 0059 00:35:08–00:37:45). Goku reasons that the energy Vegito absorbed must be in them too, and as Vegito comes at them with his eyes closed, he calls on the destroyers and angels to lend him their energy — and their apparitions appear behind him (ep 0059 00:38:47–00:41:51).

Key events

  • 00:00:44–00:00:52 Voices inside: “Vegito? Mortal [?]? Ugh, not him again!”
  • 00:01:26–00:02:25 A shockwave from Vegito’s palm blows Yamoshi back; “Thank you, Yamoshi. For all you have given me.”
  • 00:02:42–00:03:16 Yamoshi: “He’s just in base now… How could he be both outside and within his own body?” Vegito: “You fools really thought I couldn’t see what was happening within my body?”
  • 00:04:09–00:04:56 “this is within my body and mind… My domain. A place where anything I want can be made possible” — Yamoshi suddenly has no limbs.
  • 00:06:29–00:07:37 Vegito stands on Yamoshi’s chest: “in here, I am the god… And the same goes for you five too.”
  • 00:08:05–00:08:21 Vegeta: “First, Kakarot somehow goes outside after ten years of being in here, and now Vegito has arrived inside like nothing too.”
  • 00:09:12–00:09:31 Goku’s Ultra form — “unlocked after over ten years of training, and perhaps the very abilities of Vegito seeping into himself subconsciously”.
  • 00:09:43–00:09:47 Goku: “remember, we can’t die in here.”
  • 00:11:43–00:13:09 Vegito catches Goku’s punch, dodges his kick and stands on his head.
  • 00:13:33–00:14:29 Goku vanishes and fires an instant Kamehameha point-blank.
  • 00:14:50–00:16:23 Vegito appears beside him upside down: “I remember when you did the same thing to Cell” — and kicks him into the floor.
  • 00:16:39–00:16:54 Goku: “He’s too fast, too strong, and knows my every move… still just in base… Those gods really are in for a treat.”
  • 00:17:54–00:18:10 Vegeta: “What we need to do is talk… All three of us have the same goal”.
  • 00:18:41–00:18:58 Vegito: “Why would I need any input, from the likes of you two weaklings?… Only one god of destruction, remains left”.
  • 00:19:28–00:20:01 Vegeta: “some of the decisions you’ve made, have crossed the line. Not least with Jiren… What you did to him, was just as bad, as what the gods did to us.”
  • 00:20:01–00:20:17 “My own son, taught us long ago, that tampering with time, would have grave consequences… let Kakarot, and I, take back over the reins”.
  • 00:20:48–00:21:03 Goku: “our goal, is just to bring our family back. And make those who did it, pay… Gohan. Chi Chi. Goten.”
  • 00:21:34–00:21:56 Vegito: “Just like Yamoshi, you two are in my domain.”
  • 00:22:29–00:22:44 The deal: “if either of you, can land one attack, just one hit on me, while in my base form… I’ll respect your strength, and take on your thoughts from now on.”
  • 00:26:31–00:26:46 Vegito: “I used to believe most of my saiyan pride… came from Vegeta! How wrong I was!… Goku, is the true number one saiyan”.
  • 00:27:21–00:27:43 Vegeta, too, takes his own Ultra form — “Combining both, Ui, and Ultra Ego” — “the abilities of Vegito himself… being subconsciously, learned by both Goku, and Vegeta too”.
  • 00:28:15–00:28:27 Vegito: “Finally, the saiyan prince, has awoken.”
  • 00:29:17–00:29:47 Vegito appears beside Goku Black for fun; Black: “How dare you touch me, like that mortal!”
  • 00:30:38 Vegeta: “as long as his power, is restricted in base, there will be some way!”
  • 00:32:01–00:33:46 Goku’s Instant Transmission feint; Vegeta’s energy sword from his right arm just misses Vegito’s throat, nicking his clothes.
  • 00:34:01–00:34:53 Vegito points to where Goku will reappear: “I know your next thoughts, before even you do!”
  • 00:35:08–00:35:42 A kick through Goku’s stomach; Goku: “Is that… all you’ve got?”
  • 00:36:57–00:37:45 One backhand, then punches and kicks: both beaten back to base.
  • 00:38:14 Vegeta: “All those gods he absorbed, the members of the Five! It’s taken him, to a level way beyond where we got him!”
  • 00:38:47–00:39:19 Goku: “Only the guys he’s fused with are here. But where’s everybody else? The gods? The angels?… that energy isn’t just in Vegito. It’s got to be in us too!”
  • 00:40:12–00:40:28 Vegito, eyes closed, walks at them: “Base or not, just land one attack… and your wish is my command.”
  • 00:41:03–00:41:51 Goku channels: “I need to find that energy you absorb, Vegito. That we absorb… Destroyers and angels alike. Lend me your energy!” — the apparitions of the slain gods and angels appear “for the first time since their disappearance”.

Uncertainties

  • The narration swaps “Vegito” and “Vegeta” constantly in this mind-space episode.
  • Whether Yamoshi’s lost limbs are real or a mind-space effect isn’t said.
  • “Only one god of destruction, remains left” (00:18:55) — Mule, not counting Jiren (inferred: Vegito names his next target “Final Destroyer… Mule”, ep 0060 00:23:39–00:23:54); Vegito doesn’t yet know of Broly (ep 0065).
  • Goku’s call “Fierce. Guise.” (00:41:29–00:41:31) is garbled.
