Episode 0193
Summary
The episode opens with Goku narrating his past: what began as a story to save his family and get revenge has become one where he hopes for repentance (ep 0193 00:00:23–00:01:15). In a timeline much like Battle of Gods, five Saiyans lend Goku their energy and he becomes a Super Saiyan God (ep 0193 00:01:15–00:02:54). This Beerus, though, is merciless: he barely notices the new form, beats Goku all over the sky and into space, and calls the Saiyans liars and a waste of his time (ep 0193 00:04:39–00:13:08). When Goku cheerfully concedes, Whis reminds him the planet is forfeit, and Beerus erases Bulma first with a small Hakai; her last words are to Vegeta (ep 0193 00:13:47–00:17:57). Vegeta snaps and reaches a new, shorter-haired “perfected” Super Saiyan 3, lands a punch on Beerus and hits him with a Final Flash, but Beerus walks out unhurt and flicks him across Orange City, unconscious (ep 0193 00:19:41–00:28:12). Beerus then drops a Hakai bigger than a Spirit Bomb; the Z fighters fly at it and are turned to dust — Gohan, Tien, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Goten and Trunks (ep 0193 00:29:13–00:33:20). Goku alone survives touching it, his god energy lingering in base; King Kai tells him to treat the energy as his own, like the Spirit Bomb (ep 0193 00:34:20–00:36:15). The Earth crumbles to dust and Beerus and Whis leave, Whis planning to model his recipes on Earth food (ep 0193 00:37:05–00:37:59). In the debris, Goku has survived, holding the unconscious Vegeta: having accepted the power of destruction, he is “Ultra Goku” in an Ultra Ego state, and swears “These gods will die!” (ep 0193 00:38:13–00:40:14).

Uncertainties
- That this is the god-killer Goku from Hera’s team is inferred from the title, the cold open, and his Ultra Ego and vow; his white hair (ep 0190) isn’t shown yet. It is borne out when Omni Vegito is shown watching god-killer Goku’s past (ep 0197 00:00:25–00:01:31).
- Whether Chi-Chi, Pan and Videl died with the Earth isn’t shown; Goku names Chi-Chi and Pan as he fights (00:33:58–00:33:59), and Gohan names Videl and Pan (00:32:34–00:32:35).
- King Kai is called Goku’s “master” who “had told him” to accept destruction (00:39:30–00:39:33).
- “Ultra Goku” (00:39:34) is the narration’s name for the new form.
