Summary

Vegeta and Broly, out of the pyramid “a couple more days” later than Goku to “perfect something” Broly calls “such a villainous power”, first test Light in base form; Light dismisses Vegeta as no god killer — until Vegeta’s right eye takes on his demon form’s design, “a demon emperor’s eye”, and pushes Light back, and Broly, his left eye purple with destroyer power, blasts him (ep 0081 00:01:00–00:11:53). Told to stop holding back, both take their full, now mastered forms: Vegeta’s complete true demon of destruction form with two black wings, Broly’s purple-eyed angel-destroyer form; Goku feels Vegito’s power in Vegeta (ep 0081 00:12:55–00:16:06). Light takes the horned Vegeta for the god killer, and Vegeta plays along — “Yes! I am the god killer!… combined with the destructive talent that the late Beerus saw in me” (ep 0081 00:16:30–00:18:12). Light’s shields hold, he breaks Vegeta’s arm and floors Broly, then — “Now that my dark side has made an appearance” — seizes Vegeta’s body to aim a Galick Gun at Broly (ep 0081 00:21:30–00:28:21). Urged by Merus, Broly fires at Light; Light can’t control and defend at once, Vegeta breaks free — “if even Babidi couldn’t control the great Vegeta” — and the two beams catch Light between them (ep 0081 00:29:01–00:32:14). Light emerges with his hair turned fully black: “The Age of Darkness!” — Yamoshi has never seen anyone but Dai push him so far (ep 0081 00:32:31–00:34:00).
