Episode 0002 Title ULTRA Vegito Is Born! Ultra Ego Vegeta Fuses With Ultra Instinct Goku Released 2021-10-28 Length 19:13 Watch YouTube ↗
Summary
Picking up right after the failed Gogeta fight, Beerus threatens to Hakai Goku and Vegeta for wasting his chance at a real challenge (ep 0002 00:01:07). To save them, Goku claims that Potara fusion makes Vegito, who he says is far stronger than Gogeta; Vegeta privately knows the two fusions are about equal and that Vegito would likely last even less time (ep 0002 00:02:36–00:03:06). Beerus buys it, and bullies a reluctant Vegeta into agreeing (ep 0002 00:03:17–00:05:27). When Goku admits Potara also has a time limit, Beerus summons Whis, who conjures “angel-grade” Potara — black instead of green — meant to keep them fused for at least a day (ep 0002 00:06:35–00:08:30). Goku in Ultra Instinct and Vegeta in Ultra Ego fuse into Ultra Vegito, who says he takes after Vegeta (ep 0002 00:09:31–00:10:50). Vegito admits his power is no different from Gogeta’s; he is simply going all out from the start (ep 0002 00:11:46–00:12:00). After an even, brutal exchange Beerus fires a planet-scale Hakai sphere (ep 0002 00:13:42–00:16:34); Vegito dodges it with Instant Transmission and hits Beerus point-blank with a Final Kamehameha (ep 0002 00:16:48–00:17:42). Whis, watching from below, quietly says goodbye to Beerus (ep 0002 00:17:46–00:17:58). On the Kais’ world, the Supreme Kai fades from existence in front of Kibito, his life tied to Beerus’s (ep 0002 00:18:02–00:18:34).
Key events
- 00:01:21 Beerus prepares to Hakai Goku and Vegeta.
- 00:02:36 Goku proposes the Potara (“the way Gods fuse”) and claims Vegito is much stronger than Gogeta.
- 00:02:56 Vegeta privately thinks both fusions have about the same power and Vegito would last even less time (his thought, so this is the story’s own correction of Goku’s claim).

- 00:04:52 Beerus threatens Vegeta into agreeing.
- 00:05:50 Goku admits Potara fusion is time-limited too.
- 00:07:53 Whis creates a set of angel-grade Potara; they are black, not green (00:08:16).
- 00:08:26 Goku: these should keep them fused at least a day “no matter how strong we get”.
- 00:09:41 Goku puts his earring on his left ear, Vegeta on his right.
- 00:10:32 The fusion introduces himself as Ultra Vegito.
- 00:11:46 Vegito admits his power equals Gogeta’s — Goku’s claim was a trick to save them.
- 00:13:24 Beerus says the fusion combined their worst personality traits too.

- 00:18:22 The Supreme Kai (Shin) fades away, life-linked to Beerus; Kibito cries out.

Threads
Uncertainties
- “Weiss” throughout = Whis. “Kobito” 00:03:28, “Kabito” 00:18:02 = Kibito.
- “Meizamasu” 00:03:34 probably = Merged Zamasu (inferred).
- “Batara” 00:09:41 = Potara; “Hakana” 00:15:57 = Hakai; “ULTRA VEGETO” 00:10:34 = Ultra Vegito.
- “We stand below who witnessed…” 00:17:46 is almost certainly “Whis, standing below…” (inferred; no one else is present).
- Episode ends without stating Beerus is dead; ep 0003 confirms it.
- The “last time” recap 00:00:00–00:00:35 was kept as story.
- “leaving us with Vegeta” 00:10:06 and “Ultra Vegeta responds” 00:11:43 = Vegito (it’s the fused warrior).
- “Our few states” 00:03:02 probably = “our fused states” (marked [?]).
- 00:15:39 “Silly lord!” is unclear; the speaker isn’t stated.
