Overview

The Babidi of the Buu-saga timeline, the wizard of the source series who seeks to revive Majin Buu. Vegito invades his ship, kills his servant Dabura and offers him his own energy for Buu “on one condition” (ep 0043 00:31:45–00:35:31).

Affiliations & relationships

• Dabura, “king of all demons”, his guard — killed by Vegito (ep 0043 00:30:56, 00:33:12–00:33:51).
• Spopovich and Yamu, his “brainwashed henchmen” (ep 0043 00:22:44), who drain Vegito with the energy reader (ep 0043 00:24:07–00:24:43) and lose it to him (ep 0043 00:30:02).
• Majin Buu: his “prized possession” (ep 0043 00:31:24).
• Ultra Vegito: offers him power “That rivals even the gods” (ep 0043 00:34:48–00:34:57).

Abilities / traits

• Majin magic: the mark appears on Vegito’s forehead as on Vegeta’s in the original story (ep 0043 00:38:02–00:38:13); it is “Babidi’s Majin seal”, which had no hold over Vegito (ep 0046 00:19:32).

Variants

• Hub: Babidi.
• Babidi (ep 0221 Buu-saga timeline) — watches god-killer Goku destroy that timeline’s Buu.

Status

• Unknown — inside his ship when it explodes (ep 0043 00:36:37–00:36:44); never seen again there.

History

• ep 0043 00:31:06–00:31:24: waits for his two “grunts” to bring energy.
• ep 0043 00:33:56–00:34:11: petrified by Dabura’s death.
• ep 0043 00:34:59–00:35:14: asks Vegito his condition, scheming to unseal Buu and destroy him.
• ep 0046 00:19:32 (mentioned): Vegito says Babidi’s Majin seal never controlled him.

Open questions

• What was Vegito’s condition, and did Babidi survive the explosion? Neither is ever told.
