Summary

At Korin’s tower Goku collects Senzu beans and teases Yajirobe; Korin warns that the demons are on every planet and that Goku should protect the worlds that lack fighters, and Goku — thinking of Lucif growing stronger with every planet — teleports off (ep 0106 00:01:00–00:05:56). On Vampa, Lemo makes a last stand to let Cheelai escape a horde of demons; Goku appears, his Seraphim eye smiting the demons to ash, and tells them Broly is safe (ep 0106 00:06:11–00:11:52). Two white-armoured demon kings, hunting souls for “Lucif’s quota”, attack him; Goku dodges everything, knocks the smaller one’s soul out with one blow and buries both — and every lower demon on the planet drops when they fall (ep 0106 00:12:15–00:20:36). The dying king fires a beam into the sky that opens a black portal, and out steps a demon emperor “chosen by Lucif himself”; Goku goes Super Saiyan (ep 0106 00:22:26–00:28:24). On Namek, Orange Piccolo savages the demon leader — a demon king — and, noting his own father used the same title, destroys him with a Special Beam Cannon (ep 0106 00:28:29–00:36:48). In the demon realm, Vegito decides not to absorb Aiza directly and instead turns the corpse into chocolate with Buu’s candy beam and eats it, hoping to store the energy without the cost Lucif brought; instead he is overwhelmed by demonic rage — “a new demon emperor of the demon realm had been born” (ep 0106 00:37:02–00:41:31). Watching him in a crystal ball, a green-eyed figure on a throne welcomes “a new serious contender for my throne… Vessel” (ep 0106 00:41:43–00:43:05).

Key events

  • 00:01:27–00:01:35 Goku takes a bag of Senzu beans from Korin.
  • 00:02:09–00:03:16 Goku asks Yajirobe to help; Korin: “I’ll be sure to make him do his part. Just like he did with Vegeta all those years ago.”
  • 00:03:25–00:04:07 Korin: the problem is “happening on every planet”; “Before Bulma prepares enough ships for everyone, you should think hard about any planets you can travel to and protect right now.”
  • 00:04:23–00:04:39 Goku: “Every planet he conquers could be making him stronger somehow.”
  • 00:05:46–00:05:56 Korin: “I just reminded him of some people, who could really use his help right now.”
  • 00:06:11–00:07:33 On Vampa, Cheelai and Lemo flee giant demons; Lemo turns with a laser gun: “Broly would have wanted you to!”
  • 00:09:46–00:09:57 Lemo: “I really should have taken you up on that offer to train. Huh Broly?”
  • 00:10:15–00:11:08 A wave of energy erases the demons; Goku, a Seraphim eye active — “the demons were smited”.
  • 00:11:19–00:11:52 Goku: “I’m no Broly. But you can consider this me protecting you on his behalf… Broly is safe.”
  • 00:12:15–00:12:51 Two demons in white armour, white hair, red skin; one is called Gom.
  • 00:13:00–00:13:45 “For a while there, I thought all we could offer Lord Lucif was those strange green furry creatures… We may need to move to another planet soon, to fulfill Lucif’s quota.”
  • 00:14:43–00:15:06 “He attempts to make a mockery of a demon king before his men” — both are demon kings.
  • 00:16:29–00:16:38 Goku: “From what the five said about you demon guys, I expected a lot more.”
  • 00:17:32–00:18:23 Goku chases the smaller king, Uzu (as heard): “This is the power of all the innocents you treat like trash!” — one strike knocks “the Demon King’s soul itself” out.
  • 00:18:53 Goku to Gom: “How does it feel, when the strong pick on the weak?”
  • 00:19:21–00:20:07 Both kings slammed into the ground; all the lower demons on the planet fall at once.
  • 00:20:28–00:20:36 Goku: “As soon as you beat the guys at the top, it all ends. It’s got to be the same for Earth too.”
  • 00:20:47–00:21:05 Goku: “There’s a whole realm with guys with your power, and you use it for evil. Why couldn’t we just exist together?”
  • 00:21:47–00:21:50 Lemo: “Kakarot! You really did it! No wonder Broly wanted to train with you so bad.”
  • 00:23:27–00:24:24 The dying Gom fires a thin beam into the clouds; pink light seeps across the sky.
  • 00:25:11–00:26:22 A black portal opens; a demon steps out: “A summoning call on a planet like this? How interesting!”
  • 00:26:43 Goku: “his energy, it’s so dark. It’s just like Lucif’s.”
  • 00:26:55–00:27:27 Goku turns Super Saiyan: “There has to be something more to why they want these planets conquered so bad”.
  • 00:27:38–00:28:10 “A demon emperor has no qualms answering the final requests of their victim” — “one of the demon emperors chosen by Lucif himself to escape the demon realm”.
  • 00:28:45–00:29:02 On Namek the demon: “Another fusion?… You’re a little pale. A little yellow in the face.”
  • 00:29:19–00:29:31 Orange Piccolo: “The power of my people. It flows through me. I feel at one. At one with Namek.”
  • 00:30:06–00:33:13 Piccolo’s double-fist blow; his arms wrap the demon like anacondas; an orange mouth beam.
  • 00:34:01 The demon: “You think power like that is enough to slay a demon king?”
  • 00:34:41–00:34:56 Piccolo: “That’s funny. My father went by the same name. And just like you, he had the deluded idea to take over what was not his.”
  • 00:35:21–00:36:25 Special Beam Cannon; the demon is reduced to dust.
  • 00:36:48 Piccolo: “Oboe! Nail!… We all did it!”
  • 00:37:27–00:37:57 Vegito: “Lucif, Kakarot and Vegeta have made more of a difference to my power than expected… using a demon again, making the same mistake again, I’m not sure… Some way, I can store it away.”
  • 00:38:06–00:38:40 With Buu’s candy beam he turns Aiza’s corpse into a chocolate bar.
  • 00:38:49–00:39:13 Vegito: eating demons this way should keep “their bodies cocooned within me… without it, altering my base power level, like Lucif apparently was… Lucif all along, was the reason I was so strong… I’ll do this with my own power, and my own choices.”
  • 00:39:23–00:39:55 He remembers turning Gotenks into chocolate: “I wonder where you are now, son.”
  • 00:40:16–00:41:31 After eating it, sharpened teeth, red lightning “not unlike what he experienced with Lucif”, eyes gone to a red glow: “a new demon emperor of the demon realm had been born. And his name was Vegito.”
  • 00:41:51–00:42:31 The scene is a crystal ball watched by a regal, green-eyed figure on a throne.
  • 00:42:42–00:43:05 “looks like we finally have a new serious contender for my throne… This is step one… Yes. Vessel.”

Threads

Uncertainties

  • the outro calls the throne figure “this new devil” — not used as story.
  • The demon kings’ names are heard “GOM” (00:12:15, 00:18:53) and “Uzu” (00:17:32) / “Chozu” (00:16:02) only.
  • Gom’s final words (00:23:02, 00:24:50) are missing from the transcript; that his beam was a summoning call is Goku’s reading and the emperor’s own words (00:24:24–00:25:56).
  • The throne figure is probably the “new devil” Aiza mentioned (ep 0104 00:25:44) (inferred); that he calls Vegito “Vessel” (00:43:05) echoes Aiza’s account of how a devil reaches the mortal realm (ep 0104 00:25:49–00:26:03).
  • “Saiyan eyes” (00:15:42) may be “Seraphim eyes”.
