Episode 0120
Summary
Goku (cyan Seraphim eyes) and Vegeta (purple ones) face the skull-crowned emperor, who half-remembers a similar eye pattern from the demon realm and names himself Emperor Flame (ep 0120 00:01:00–00:03:43). Flame holds his own against both, but when his eye-glare erases Goku’s double Kamehameha, Vegeta exploits the opening and the two batter him (ep 0120 00:04:29–00:09:19). Flame says Lucif underestimated them, calling them “two monkeys from Earth”, and blows up everything around him; the Saiyans dodge, and decide to go “up a level” (ep 0120 00:09:33–00:13:23). They take their second stages — Seraphim Goku with wings and triangle, and the Seraphim of destruction Vegeta for the first time since the final battle (ep 0120 00:13:38–00:16:40). Flame realises they are the ones who fought Lucif and keeps faith in “the Omni King’s great plan” (ep 0120 00:17:22–00:17:47); a 90-hit combo and a tag-team trick from the Pyramid of Power — Goku’s energy ball kicked by Vegeta — blast him away (ep 0120 00:18:21–00:23:25). Flame survives in the sea and, vowing not to fail Lucif, raises a sea monster behind him and fires his ultimate beam (ep 0120 00:24:20–00:28:30). Vegeta claims it: he shows Goku his Ultra Oozaru form, adds a purple Seraphim eye on top, and his mouth beam drives the blast back and kills Flame; he then teleports away (ep 0120 00:29:25–00:36:52). Alone, Goku despairs that Vegeta is now a form ahead of him and blames himself for Lucif’s return — until, in a sudden calm, he ascends into “the mysterious, green-eyed Seraphim form of Vegito himself” (ep 0120 00:37:07–00:39:37).
Key events
- 00:01:28–00:01:37 Goku’s Seraphim eyes are “influenced by the angels”, Vegeta’s “a violent purple, taken straight from the gods of destruction”.
- 00:01:48–00:02:08 Vegeta: “You aren’t going to disappoint me, like you did, back against Dai, are you?”
- 00:02:21–00:02:42 The emperor: “Those eyes… that pattern looks familiar… I could have sworn I met someone in the demon realm with something similar… The amount I drink… Who knows”.
- 00:02:57–00:03:17 “I’ve conquered all kinds of mortal planets… On my name… As Emperor Flame”.
- 00:03:43 Flame: “Time to stop your meddling… In Lord Lucif’s great plan”; Goku: “You’re taking us right to him” (00:04:16).
- 00:04:39–00:05:32 Flame catches Goku’s punch, makes Vegeta block, and punches Goku.
- 00:06:24–00:07:44 Goku’s “double Kamehameha”; Flame’s eye shrinks it to nothing.
- 00:08:11–00:09:03 Vegeta’s elbow and Goku’s fist hit Flame from both sides.
- 00:09:33–00:09:53 Flame: “Lord Lucif… Definitely underestimated you two… When he sent me down here… Just two monkeys from Earth… As he described you”.
- 00:10:06–00:12:30 Flame’s roar ends in a giant explosion “Destroying absolutely everything in sight”; the Saiyans dodge.
- 00:12:50–00:12:58 Vegeta: “That’s how Lucif felt… When we faced him”.
- 00:13:14–00:13:23 Goku: “Even with all our clones… Splitting our energy… We can deal… With Flame… We just need… To go up a level”.
- 00:14:22–00:16:40 A circular symbol forms on Vegeta’s forehead, a triangle on Goku’s: “stage 2… Seraphim Goku… With his dual angel wings” and “the legendary Seraphim of destruction… Vegeta… For the first time… Since the final battle… With the Grand Priest” (Vegeta with long dark-purple hair, like Super Saiyan 4).
- 00:15:07 Flame: “Lucif… What did you send me here for?”
- 00:17:27–00:17:47 Flame: “You two aren’t just any meddlers… Like the ones I dealt with in Universe 6… You two… Are the ones who fought Lucif… I’ll have faith… In the Omni King’s great plan”.
- 00:19:11–00:19:32 “A 90-plus hit combo… Done in a blink of an eye”.
- 00:20:10–00:20:16 Goku: “that one thing… We practiced in the Pyramid of Power… We never did get to use it on Lucif”.
- 00:20:57–00:21:39 Vegeta kicks Goku’s energy ball, using “his Buu-like body to rotate”; it carries Flame away in a huge explosion (00:22:54–00:23:25).
- 00:24:10 Vegeta: “His body should be nearby… If he’s still alive… He may give us some clues”.
- 00:24:52–00:25:14 Flame, adrift: “Lord Lucif… Fought these two… And defeated them… Watching… As I fail… My lord”.
- 00:26:41–00:26:58 “Lord Lucif… Picked me for a reason… All I must do… Is not fail him”.
- 00:27:08–00:28:30 A giant creature formed from the sea rises behind him; they fire a beam that splits the sea.
- 00:29:28–00:29:38 Vegeta: “Never send a low-class warrior… To do a Saiyan Prince’s job… I’ve got something to show you”.
- 00:30:17 Vegeta: “Let me show you… What I learned… Away from you… Kakarot”.
- 00:31:09–00:31:17 Goku saw Vegeta ascend “not once… But twice… During the battle with Dai”.
- 00:31:55–00:32:17 “his Ultra Oozaru form… The same one used against Emperor Tizer [?]”, “Perhaps not as quite as powerful”.
- 00:32:29–00:32:56 Goku: “It’s not godly [?]… Aren’t you weaker like this?”; Vegeta: “This isn’t as strong as my Seraphim form… But who told you… I was done yet?”
- 00:33:16–00:33:34 “a purple Seraphim eye… Would form… Stacked on top… of Vegeta’s Ultra-Oozaru state”.
- 00:33:56–00:36:01 A thin green beam from Vegeta’s mouth drives Flame’s blast back and destroys him; his body sinks “never to be seen again”.
- 00:36:09–00:36:52 Vegeta: “Think I went a little too far there!… Until next time, clown!” — and teleports away.
- 00:37:22–00:37:40 Goku: “Vegeta went past me twice already!… now he’s a third form ahead of me!… Why am I the one letting everyone down?”
- 00:37:59–00:38:08 “Visions of how his inability to ascend in the final battle, being the reason why Lucif even returned”.
- 00:39:07 Goku: “This time, I’ll stop Lucif myself!”
- 00:39:15–00:39:30 Goku ascends “into a form beyond all others… The mysterious, green-eyed Seraphim form of Vegito himself”.
Characters appearing
- Goku (Seraphim stage 2, then green-eyed Seraphim) · Vegeta (Seraphim of destruction; Ultra Oozaru with a Seraphim eye)
- Emperor Flame (the skull-crowned emperor; named) — killed
- Mentioned: Lucif, Dai (Grand Priest), Ultra Vegito, Tizer
Threads
- Resolved: The skull-crowned emperor (Emperor Flame, killed by Vegeta)
- Opened: Goku’s green-eyed Seraphim
- Advanced: Goku’s own path · Final forms · Defending every planet · Lucif, Omni King · Who do the demons see in the Saiyans?
Uncertainties
- The emperor’s name is heard “Flame” throughout, first at 00:03:17.
- “Jace’s long-lost brother” (00:04:57) is garbled.
- Flame “dealt with” meddlers “in Universe 6” (00:17:27) — not otherwise described.
- Flame recalls someone in the demon realm with eyes like the Saiyans’ Seraphim (00:02:21–00:02:42); compare Crime’s reaction to Vegito’s green eyes (ep 0119 00:04:20) (inferred link).
- The “green-eyed Seraphim form of Vegito himself” (00:39:30) — Vegito’s green Seraphim, his “mastered” Completed Vegito eyes (ep 0100 00:12:52–00:18:04; ep 0105 00:33:49–00:34:23); how Goku can reach it apart from Vegito is the cliffhanger.
