Summary

In sector 9, Yamoshi won’t regenerate, and Vegito can’t reabsorb him: the green-and-black emperor, who has been watching Vegito’s “little quest” with the other demons, has nullified Buu’s abilities on his turf (ep 0110 00:01:02–00:05:41). The emperor hurls Vegito into a mountain, but two Vegitos burst out — Tien’s multi-form — and while one presses the emperor, the other turns Seraphim for the first time and heals Yamoshi with angelic power, to the emperor’s alarm: “The eyes of an angel in the demon realm!” (ep 0110 00:06:49–00:18:01). Yamoshi, wanting revenge, asks for the clone’s half of Vegito’s power; the clone pours into him and he becomes Seraphim Yamoshi, and Vegito himself turns Seraphim too, leaving two angelic warriors facing the emperor (ep 0110 00:18:09–00:28:07). On Vampa, Seraphim Goku toys with Kaida, puts a foot through his stomach and smashes him down (ep 0110 00:28:13–00:33:34). Kaida threatens erasure and summons six zombified “lost souls” whose touch erases; Goku’s “Solar Smite” burns them away, and Kaida, realising Goku is an angel who could send him back below at will, flees into space begging Lucif for a portal (ep 0110 00:33:51–00:41:22). Goku kicks him back down to Vampa; beaten, Kaida keeps his word and, too weak to explain, sends his memories into Goku’s head — and Goku freezes in terror at what he sees (ep 0110 00:41:48–00:49:21).

Key events

  • 00:01:27–00:01:44 Vegito: “Must be the demon emperor of this land!… how familiar you look! That energy signature too!”
  • 00:02:32–00:02:42 “Why isn’t Yamoshi healing? He’s made of Buu!”
  • 00:03:10–00:03:33 The emperor: “You’re here to take my throne, aren’t you?… I’ve been watching you closely for a while… Low level demon tricks like that, won’t be working here on my turf…”
  • 00:04:23–00:05:35 Vegito tries to reabsorb Yamoshi: “It’s not working! None of Buu’s abilities work!”
  • 00:06:26–00:06:32 The emperor: “Your little mortal world tricks won’t work down here!”
  • 00:07:06–00:07:57 He throws Vegito into a mountain, burying him.
  • 00:08:20–00:08:42 “this is a fool’s errand, thinking you will get past me, let alone all the way to the devil. We’re all aware of your little quest, the latest bit of fun for all of us.”
  • 00:09:12–00:09:31 “Lucky for them, there’s more than enough of me to go around!” — two Vegitos, Tien’s multi-form technique.
  • 00:09:39–00:10:00 The emperor: “This can’t be a demon technique. I’ve nullified that… This must be something from the realm of the mortals.”
  • 00:11:06–00:12:17 One Vegito’s kick drives the emperor back.
  • 00:12:38–00:12:44 The emperor: “as long as I’ve halted your healing abilities, you’re finished. I had a feeling, that’s what allowed you to survive Aiza’s attacks.”
  • 00:13:35–00:14:14 Vegito: “I’ve fought with more missing limbs, than you could ever imagine… I don’t leave my friends behind.”
  • 00:14:33–00:15:18 “for the very first time”, the other Vegito stands over Yamoshi “in a classic seraphim form”, cyan eyes and hair, and heals him and his armour.
  • 00:15:29 Vegito: “I knew if that clown Kakarot could do it, then so could I.”
  • 00:15:53–00:16:06 “Wakey wakey grandpa… from here on out, you give me directions from within.”
  • 00:17:49–00:17:52 The emperor: “The eyes of an angel in the demon realm!”
  • 00:18:22–00:18:32 Yamoshi: “these demons play by no honor… the deeper we go into this hole, the more dastardly they will become.”
  • 00:19:39–00:20:35 Yamoshi: “I can, if you fuse this clone with me… This clone of yours, it’s half your energy. Just transfer its power into me temporarily”.
  • 00:21:00–00:21:09 Vegito: “Half my power! What a bold request!”
  • 00:22:29–00:23:34 The clone turns to cyan energy and flows into Yamoshi; he roars, his eyes blank, his hair changing colour.
  • 00:24:13 The emperor: “THIS ENERGY… IT’S ANGELIC TOO!”
  • 00:25:08 Vegito: “WELCOME TO THE CLUB, OLD MAN!”
  • 00:25:16–00:25:52 “SERAPHIM YAMOSHI”, cyan hair and eyes.
  • 00:26:01–00:26:16 Yamoshi: “CONTROL OVER POWER, IS A LOT MORE THAN JUST ABOUT HOW STRONG YOU ARE… I’LL PROBABLY MAKE BETTER USE OF THIS ENERGY THAN YOU EVER COULD!”
  • 00:26:54–00:27:37 Vegito powers up too: “TWO SERAPHIM WARRIORS… EQUALLY AS STRONG AS EACH OTHER FOR NOW”.
  • 00:28:39–00:28:52 On Vampa, Goku: “JUST TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO KNOW, AND I’LL MAKE THIS PAINLESS”; Kaida: “THE ONLY ONE WHO WILL SUFFER HERE, IS YOU!”
  • 00:29:17–00:30:38 Goku dodges by a hair and over a kick, then kicks Kaida toward the ground.
  • 00:31:28–00:32:08 He stops Kaida’s fall by driving a foot through his stomach: “HAD ENOUGH YET?”
  • 00:33:11–00:33:34 “THE ANGELIC SAIYAN, WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE GRAND PRIEST HIMSELF”.
  • 00:34:17–00:34:28 Kaida: “LUCIF CAN BLAME ME LATER, BUT YOUR SOUL WILL NOT BE HARVESTED! YOU WILL BE ERASED HERE AND NOW!”
  • 00:35:03–00:35:39 Goku: “I DIDN’T KNOW DEMONS HAD THE POWER OF HAKAI TOO”; Kaida: “YOU TALK OF HAKAI LIKE IT IS NOT A TECHNIQUE OF LOWER GODS.”
  • 00:36:10–00:37:11 Six zombified lower demons, wrapped in dark purple energy: “ARISE LOST SOULS… JUST ONE TOUCH AND YOU DISAPPEAR FOREVER”.
  • 00:37:16 Goku: “THAT LOOKS LIKE ONE OF VEGITO’S MOVES [?]”.
  • 00:38:38–00:39:30 “SOLAR SMITE!” — a Solar Flare with Seraphim light burns the souls, sending them “BACK, TO WHERE THEY CAME FROM”.
  • 00:39:52–00:40:01 Kaida: “THIS IS NO MORTAL! THIS IS AN ANGEL! HE COULD HAVE SENT ME BACK DOWN WHENEVER HE WANTED!”
  • 00:40:44–00:41:22 Fleeing into space: “I’M NOT GOING BACK!… I NEED A PORTAL! LUCIF! LUCIF! YOU NEED TO GET ME OUT OF HERE!”
  • 00:41:48–00:42:46 Goku appears in front of him — “LEAVING SO SOON” — and kicks him back down.
  • 00:43:16–00:44:29 Cheelai and Lemo come out, then flee as Kaida crashes down.
  • 00:44:58–00:45:17 Kaida: “DEFEATED [?] BY A FLESH-PILE?… LUCIF, DID YOU KNOW THIS, WHEN YOU SENT ME?”
  • 00:45:48–00:46:04 Goku: “WHY IS LUCIF DOING ALL OF THIS, WHAT DOES HE GAIN?”
  • 00:46:31–00:46:55 Kaida: “I MAY BE A DEMON, BUT I AM NO LIAR… IT’S BETTER I JUST SHOW YOU”.
  • 00:47:37–00:48:12 A ball of energy enters Goku’s head: “IT’S SIMPLY MY MEMORIES”.
  • 00:48:24 Kaida “WOULD SEEMINGLY BREATHE HIS LAST BREATHS”.
  • 00:48:34–00:49:21 “LUCIF, NO… WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” — Goku, frozen and sweating, sees the answers.

Threads

Uncertainties

  • From 00:24:06 the transcript is in capitals.
  • Kaida “seemingly” breathes his last (00:48:24); next episode he “now lays lifeless” (ep 0112 00:03:15–00:03:23).
  • What Goku saw in Kaida’s memories isn’t shown here (00:48:50–00:49:21); it was Lucif’s plan to wipe out every mortal on every planet of the 12 universes (ep 0112 00:01:12–00:01:30).
  • “A HAKAI?” (00:35:03) is read from “A RACE?” (likely).
  • The sector 9 emperor’s look and energy are “familiar” to Vegito (00:01:38–00:01:44), but he isn’t named.
