Aliases & name spellings

• Mr. Satan, Hercule (ep 0025 00:15:26); “Earth’s champion, and greatest martial artist, at least in the eyes of the media” (narration, ep 0025 00:18:00).

Overview

Earth’s tournament champion in the Android-saga timeline. Unaware of the danger, he challenges Perfect Cell in his champion’s outfit with a “Dynamite Punch” and is killed by Dr. Gero (ep 0025 00:15:26–00:18:07). His death pushes Goku to erase Gero (ep 0025 00:18:09–00:19:55).

As of his last appearance (ep 0025): dead (ep 0025 00:17:58).

Affiliations & relationships

• Videl: his last words are an apology to her (ep 0025 00:17:20–00:17:22). That she is his daughter is (inferred): the narration calls him “the old father” just before (ep 0025 00:17:01), and the source series makes her his daughter; the story never names the relation.
• Dr. Gero: his killer (ep 0025 00:16:35–00:17:58).
• Goku (Android-saga timeline): watches him die and, shocked, erases Gero in revenge (ep 0025 00:18:09–00:19:55).

Abilities / traits

• No real power shown. His “Dynamite Punch” charge is “fruitless” (ep 0025 00:16:05–00:16:14).
• Oblivious: calls Cell “the monster who’s terrorizing my city” (ep 0025 00:15:42) and, as he dies, thinks Gero’s speed is “one of those damn magic tricks” (ep 0025 00:17:16).

Variants

• Hub: Mr. Satan.
• Mr. Satan (Omni Vegito’s timeline) — a guest at Pan’s wedding.

Status

• Dead, stabbed through the stomach by Gero (ep 0025 00:16:44–00:17:58).

History

• ep 0025 00:15:26–00:16:14: Bursts in on Goku, Cell and Gero in his champion’s outfit, calls out “the monster who’s terrorizing my city” and charges with a Dynamite Punch.
• ep 0025 00:16:35–00:18:07: Gero stabs him through the stomach; he apologises to Videl and dies. His death pushes Goku to erase Gero (ep 0025 00:18:09–00:19:55).
